Explore. Dream. Discover. And Refuse to Grow Old.

It’s quite a WTF, FML, what/where the hell did I do/go wrong, moment when your CEO remembers and wishes you on your birthday, but not your best friends.

Ah well, time to grow up, no?

“Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be,
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance,
I have not winced nor cried aloud:
Under the bludgeonings of chance my head is bloody but unbowed . . . . .
It matters not how strait the gait, how charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.”

(WE Henley, 1849-1903, from ‘Invictus’)

      yeah same here..
but no I wanted the day off so he asked a colleague why she’s taken the day off (considering I never have before) and she told him so and he wished me then. 🙂

but yeah it was quite uncomfortable.. you are right..
      but sad too..
my two best friends still have no clue why I have suddenly stopped talking to them since past two days.

        1. 😦 but I love them so much.
I am hopeless when it comes to leaving someone.
As long as they need me, I am there, irrespective of whether they’ve been there for me or not. 😦

    1. Yeah and when your father only e-mails you to wish you. Yep. Happened too.

Grandma didn’t even bother with the call this time, considering her son sent an e-mail to wish me, so didn’t expect her to do something extraordinary for me either.
